To oversee and manage multiple electrical crews and foremen across industrial or heavy commercial job sites, ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and company standards. The General Foreman serves as the primary liaison between field operations and project management, driving productivity, quality, and safety.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The roles and responsibilities of an Electrician General Foreman may include, but are not limited to, the following items:

•Supervise and coordinate the activities of multiple electrical foremen and crews across job sites.

•Plan and schedule electrical work to meet project timelines and milestones.

•Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to guide field execution.

•Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety policies.

•Monitor progress, quality, and productivity, and implement corrective actions as needed.

•Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to resolve conflicts and maintain workflow.

•Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

•Manage labor resources, material requisitions, and tool/equipment needs.

•Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to foremen and electricians.

•Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, timekeeping, and material usage.

•Report on project timeline, execution, obstacles, delays, inefficiencies, quality, safety and schedule.
