This is a 6 month project

Job Description:

The right candidate must a minimum of seven years of construction scheduling experience or equivalent. You will supervise and direct all planning and scheduling activities for projects through application of diversified control systems, principles and practices.


Responsibilities:

Reviewing and providing recommendations on construct-ability of design

Supervising and coordinating subcontractors work scope, schedules, work priorities, and possible change orders

Reviewing and approving subcontractor time-sheets

Coordinating NDE if a QA/QC Inspector is not on-site

Maintaining a detailed log book of daily site/work activities

Updating site management on all job related issues

Ordering and expediting materials and rental equipment

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the project scope of work

Resolving engineering clarifications and field changes

Monitoring productivity reports, identifying trends, and making recommendations for corrective actions

Maintaining a thorough understanding of all material issues and requirements

Ensuring adequate documents and material controls are in place throughout the duration of the project

Working closely with the Office Manager or Timekeeper on change-order billing, etc.

Reviewing and approving blind lists

Compiling and delivering construction turnover documentation to Start-up Team or client


Required Skills:

You must have previous experience with the following skills:

Thorough knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, principles and practices, including the ability to solve complex scheduling issues, implement procedures, and maintain liaison with multiple organization

Excellent interpersonal communication and analytical problem solving skills

Advanced Primavera Scheduling Skills

Successfully completed Primavera P6 Scheduling for Windows and Starcon’s Proficiency Test

Familiarity with cost controls and subcontract administration

Have extensive knowledge of computers, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project

2 years of college or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience

Formal Primavera (P6) Training and Certification
